Jazz and funk are my passion but I play all styles and genres from rock, pop, classical music, hip hop, drum+bass, latin, music theatre to world music.

I’m equally at home in the studio as I am playing live out on the road. I’m an Improvising musician with fluent reading skills and am capable of learning anything very quickly which allows me to ‘dep’ and cover anything at very short notice.

I’ve written music for television, adverts, short films, internet campaigns and for private media companies. I write from my own studio but also use other audio and recording facilities in London and throughout the UK if needed. I can compose in any style with a very quick turn around to meet any deadline.

I have composed, recorded and collaborated with companies including Stella Artois, Fiat, Pitch&Sync, Axe Haircare and the BBC.

I have a wide range of drums, percussion, keyboards and microphones at my disposal which also makes it very easy to work remotely and collaborate with other artists and producers.

I offer lessons on drums and percussion to all ages and abilities, across all styles and can work towards any goals you may have - from reading music, learning how to play various tracks, help with improvisation….to following the graded exams.

I’ve taught for over 20 years in various universities, colleges, music centres, schools and also worked with students with additional needs.

I can set up and direct percussion ensembles for schools, colleges, corporate ‘team building’ events, staff training days etc including Samba bands, Djembe drumming, ‘Junk’ ensembles to Body percussion workshops.

I have directed many workshops throughout the UK and around the world including places of education, The Barbican Centre London, HSBC, Create Arts Charity, Shelter, HMS Prisons and the Guildhall School of music and Drama.

I offer private sessions and group music workshops for children and adults with a wide range of special educational needs. I also work with vulnerable adults helping to improve mental health through music

Totally bespoke groups to perfectly fit your event comprising of the UKs top musicians. My previous work and clients have included BBC Radio, 10 Downing Street private events, Elle Style Awards, Wimbledon Tennis Championship, Strongbow, 2012 Olympic Ceremony, World Formula 1 Championships and the 6-Nations Rugby Tournaments.
